Pros

If you're having trouble landing your first engineering job, this is a completely acceptable place to start your career. Once you have already worked as a professional engineer at DiCon for a year or so, it will be much easier to find your next job. My managers were kind to me. My colleagues were smart and lovely to work with. I never worked weekends. I was happy with my salary, though many of my colleagues were underpaid.

Cons

You're going to have a tough time here if you don't speak Cantonese or Mandarin Chinese. I only speak English, and it was very lonely, stressful, and confusing. The engineering managers either do not know how to develop talent, or they just don't care to try. There are no opportunities for advancement, increased responsibility or growth into leadership positions. I was always either under-supported, or micromanaged, depending on the project. Very few engineers stay for longer than one year, and the ones that do stay aren't happy about it. The benefits were not good. The company's core value is obedience.
