Pros

I have not seen anything till now. Waiting for it from the day I was acquired by Digicert.

Cons

Most of the developers are using 3-4-year-old laptops. No plan for replacing them. Even if you ask for a laptop you will be given another old used laptop. You need lots of approval to get Mac here. But all directors will have Mac machines. Team lunch is a rare thing here. Forget about Team outing. They can't afford 1K per person also. Once we did an outing on our own money. Junk work comes to Bangalore team. Indian managers don't have any say in the company's happenings. It's really sad to see all your colleagues leave the company. Every day at least one shocking news will be there. Every week at least two people leaving the company. Most of the work is on PHP framework. Since there is no hike given, salary is 20-25% less than market standards.

Product, People and Process are excellent. Customer first and Employee friendly with lots of benefits Lots of new technology to learn and keep updated every day

Cons

I haven't found much expect there is no ESOP options.

Pros

When I first joined DigiCert, I was incredibly impressed with how they took care of their people. Their benefits were generous and we were driven by a mission to make the internet a safer place. The individual people I worked with were incredible and we had autonomy to make decisions. We also survived and thrived as a business during the pandemic. However, ever since new management took over about a year ago everything about the business has changed. It’s not the company that I started at.

Cons

The new management is profit driven only. Gone are the days where DigiCert takes care of its people. The new management are micromanaging every detail and scrutinizing everyone. They also implemented mass change to the org structure and roles and expected people to adapt almost overnight. When it didn’t go the way that management expected, instead of adjusting or trying to assist employees struggling they introduced a large layoff to loyal employees who have spend years with the company, due to poor financial performance. rather than accepting that perhaps management was responsible for the company’s performance due to their changes, they pushed the blame onto frontline employees. Add onto that that the compensation overall is below average and the average annual raise is less than inflation, and you have a company I would not recommend spending much time on. Maybe if you need a 6-12 month spot, but I would not try to grow here. You'll probably get laid off or reorged into oblivion before you can.
