Pros

Digicert has a supportive and encouraging work culture. In my personal experience, my leadership has been a major reason for my long tenure — my manager and US counterparts have always been incredibly supportive. The overall work culture is positive, and benefits are at par with most product-based companies. While not industry-leading, they are fair and consistent.

Cons

Being a relatively small company with a flat structure, growth in terms of designation can be limited. You may have a strong compensation package but still hold a fairly basic title like Senior Software Engineer. This can be demotivating for some, especially those looking for formal recognition through promotions or title changes.

Dear current DigiCert employee, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your dedication in more than five years with DigiCert. We’re truly encouraged to hear that our culture of supportive leadership, global collaboration, and growth has played such an important role in your journey. Your feedback reinforces what many others across the company have shared in recent months: The people and leadership at DigiCert make a meaningful difference in creating a positive, high-trust work environment. This kind of support reflects the heart of our CARE Culture, especially Exceptional Collaboration and Customer Obsession, not only for our customers, but for each other. We also appreciate your honesty about growth through titles and recognition. This is an area we are actively working to improve. We are investing in ways to expand promotion of our career visibility, recognition, and internal mobility so that meaningful contributions are more consistently reflected in formal advancement. Your input is an important reminder that recognition needs to be both intrinsic and visible. Thank you again for growing your career with us and for continuing to help build a workplace where people can do their best work and be recognized for it. Regards, DigiCert People Team

Pros

Health insurance and OPD. Work from home flexibility

Cons

No transparency, many silo groups., no sharing .. even from managers. They don't believe in truth .. only polish and butter. No proper review process.. You are valued on quantity not quality No work life balance. If you work 24 hours you are valued a lot. If you don't speak in meeting you are rated low.

Dear current DigiCert employee, Thank you for sharing your perspective on things based on your six years at DigiCert. We do want to address some of the points you made as we have been working diligently to address employee needs and keep employees at the forefront as we grow in India. In fact, we’ve hosted a Coffee Brewing Session with Leadership, which was a focused group discussion with female employees covering work-life balance, performance and recognition and we have more planned. We also are planning an APJ-focused all hands meetings including one coming up in May to focus on culture, recognition and organizational information for APJ. In addition to these efforts, we have hired and onboard five new engineering managers and reorganized the structure to have more balance and management in Bangalore. We understand all of those things may not satisfy your concerns, but we do hope they have made you feel as though the company is heading in the right direction and focusing on employee experience. Whether they have changed your opinions or not, we do invite you to share your feedback on what has happened and any insight into what you’d like to see happen moving forward. Please reach out to a member of the DigiCert People Team with any additional feedback. Regards, DigiCert People Team
