Dear current DigiCert employee, Thank you for taking the time to complete a Glassdoor review about your time as a senior software engineer at DigiCert. Your four years with the company have undoubtedly given you a great deal of perspective about how the company has grown and evolved in the last few years. It’s good to know you appreciate your coworkers, the work-life balance the company offers, and the work ethic. We try to hire the best employees who will further our inclusive culture and we strive to allow everyone to bring their whole selves to work while understanding that people have lives outside of the office that need to be understood and respected. We note your cons regarding lateral hires versus internal hires, lean teams and managerial role hires versus technical team hires. We do make efforts to hire within, creating learning and growth opportunities for all employees through LinkedIn Learning, DigiCert University and other growth programs. We also acknowledge that, as we grow, we sometimes identify skills and experience that are best found in people coming into the company. But there are many opportunities to grow and lead for those within. Know that we understand the growth areas you identified, and we take them seriously. It’s unfortunate that you did not enjoy your time at DigiCert and that, other than the global presence of the company, you have little regard for your time there. We do work very hard to provide a strong culture and offer employees competitive benefits and work-life balance. We do hope you had some positive experiences during your tenure.
