Smart, good team and amazing technology

Pros

It's rare to work with a bunch of brilliant, good-hearted people who are also fun to be around. The best year+ of my career simply for that reason. The technology and future capability is truly amazing if in the right hands. The benefits were fantastic including healthcare, options, and free seltzer. Upper management was enjoyable to be around and often inspired me to want to be better.

Cons

The product roadmap didn't align with the sales focus. This lack of alignment led to a mismatch in capability vs. pipeline. It can still be turned around but would need a lot of investment and smart product management at the helm in a decision-making role.

Pros

The individual people were some of the smartest I've ever worked with. Anyone that has worked here in a non-management role is very talented and highly educated and experienced.

Cons

Where do I begin. The board fires the CEO one afternoon and everyone celebrates as he was single-handedly putting the company out of business. A few weeks later, a board member sends out an email that "we're happy to welcome back" the old CEO, now as Co-CEO w/ another board member. Just imagine if something like this happened anywhere else...and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
