Pros

The good friends I made who stood by me in tough times.

Cons

The terrible leads we worked with who never respected and treated us like machines. One even called a colleague a buffalo. No flexibility even when we went through some personal loss. Now I hear they are teeming up with their Brand Manager friend and doing random events, forcing good reviews sending surveys where the rating starts at good and goes to outstanding to show management they are doing great things at the site. But actually everyone is looking for a job to get out. There is no growth, respect or work life balance here.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for highlighting the positive relationships you’ve built with your colleagues. We’re glad to hear that you’ve found support and camaraderie during your time at Diligent. We are concerned to hear about the issues you’ve raised regarding leadership behavior, flexibility, and the integrity of feedback processes. Respect is a core value at Diligent, and it’s troubling that your experience did not reflect this. Please know that we take feedback like yours seriously and are committed to addressing these concerns as we continue to improve our culture and practices. If you have additional feedback or suggestions, feel free to connect with us at HRConfidential@diligent.com.

Pros

The organisation has a ton of employees who are from RSAM & Galvanize. 1. Good learning for Engineers(if you are lucky to be in actively developed apps) 2. Free lunch & dinner based on your shift 3. Free coffee & beverages 4. Free transport

Cons

A lot of horrible management is happening in India aka Banglore office as of now. It was not the case earlier. 1. Very bad management 2. People who say “yes boss” are encouraged highly in recent times 3. What was once a quality driven product development culture has become a speed driven culture(RIP Quality) 4. None of employees feedback is considered 5. Horrible leader ship in India. Any questions which challenge the ethics of management are shushed. If they are placed in an anonymous forum, then they will be removed while presenting to the CXOs. They will be happy just looking at the simple questions which they can hit out of park with non-committing answers 6. Turning into IT service from a product development company 7. people have been food poisoned with the food served here 8. Micro management in the name of performance driven culture 9. Horrible payscale differences. No normalisation happens ever. They hire people for lower positions at higher pay than people who contribute more from a higher position & never raise your salary as per industry standards 10. No clear goals for any of the teams. Every manager is trying to please their manager 11. Working over weekends has become a (forced& not so)proud part of many engineering teams

Pros

1.If you land a good manager then the work environment isnt bad 2. Comp plan is decent in sales - commission rate is good 3. Taking holidays is never an issue. Infact sometimes the CEO declares extra holidays on certain occasions

Cons

1.. They run sales like an factory of sales people - you are given a list of products and just start selling them. 2. No focus on career development or any strategic conversaions. I have been around for 20 months and not once has anyone asked me about my career goals or path or anything like that. 3. Managers are obsessed with numbers /forecasting. 4. Senior Managers are full of platitudes and everything is ''super'' exciting if you talk to them, but very little of that excitement percolates down into the trenches.
