Pros

Diligent is doing some amazing things. They have been running under the radar for quite some time, but the new CEO has Diligent poised for some tremendous growth and innovation. Smart, hard working co-workers, great clients, great career opportunities, nice offices, strong comp and benefits, and a fun culture. You really can't ask for more.

Cons

Not many. You'd better be ready for a fast, but organized, pace.

Pros

Great product that really fits a need in the SaaS marketplace. You will work with alot of big name clients and meet very interesting people.

Cons

Management is very focused on the financial capital more that the human capital. Employees don't get positive feedback from management.

Pros

Given the nature of their products, working at Diligent will enable you to build a robust corporate literacy. You’ll learn about things like IPOs and regulatory requirements of companies both private and public, as well as how board members and leaders at some of the most powerful firms in the world govern their organizations. If you make an effort to digest the subject matter, it could serve as a foundation of knowledge that sets you apart from others for the rest of your career.

Cons

What was initially a healthy culture of accountability, transparency, and a commitment to employees and customers alike has eroded thoroughly. It is my view that this is a product of Diligent’s private equity owners growing increasingly anxious to reap a return on their investment. In 2024, after a brazen attempt to raise many of our customers’ pricing by 30% fell flat on its face, it seems that leadership needed to scramble to find some other way to rejigger the balance sheet and increase profitability. Perhaps this dovetails with recent rumblings of Diligent’s majority owner looking to make an exit from their investment. In the last 18 months, members of the client relations team have since seen their variable pay (once the lion’s share of their comp) shrink dramatically. I don’t think I need to tell you that this doesn’t exactly align with the direction the cost of living is going. I raised this concern directly to global leadership multiple times and was ignored or given a canned response.
