We appreciate your feedback. We’re glad you value our teammates and our benefits, just two of the many reasons why we believe Diligent is an exceptional place to work. To your other points, we appreciate that recent strategic changes to our business have impacted valued colleagues – but we’re confident they are charting us forward on a clear path to sustainable success, by enhancing the impact we can make for our clients. Thank you again and we wish you good luck on your next step. - Avigail Dadone, Chief People Officer

Thank you for the input. This may be a review for Galvanize bootcamp company in Seattle, as we don't have a Seattle employee in R&D, and "software systems" con makes more sense in the context of it being a bootcamp than us. If anything, majority of Galvanize folks are greatly enjoying the Serverless journey they are on :)

Pros

Currently we have unlimited time off and your work life balance really depends on the team you are on - from none to decent but not sure how it will change in the next few years. Some great people to work with for now.

Cons

Any initiative takes forever to start but then it is rushed and done badly to the point of bringing no value as it was tweaked so much from the original proposal. People don’t receive any training as there is no proper on-boarding program in place in any department. Next few years will see a lot of change and hundreds of people being laid off/quitting aka someone will need to pick up the slack. Unfortunately there is a tendency to blindly copycat strategy of large corporations and the uniqueness of Diligent is lost in the process, it is very saddening. It is not the technology it’s the people behind it that make it great is no longer the fundamental principal. There is a lot of focus on what competitors are doing and copying it against research or expert advise without any regard to product limitations.
