Pros

Cool co-workers and nice office

Cons

You will be overworked with the amount of accounts that you will be handling. Compensation is below market value when you factor the amount of work you bring home. Poor employee retention.

Thank you for your feedback. We instituted the Consultant Code in December 2022 where Garrett made a promise on a company-wide call that every Strategist would manage no more than 5 accounts in addition to 20 hours of support per week. During this same rollout, he gave out his cell phone number for anyone to reach out to him if any part of the Consultant Code was broken. To my knowledge, no one has managed more than 5 accounts since that code was enacted. We also offer all of our employees a living wage in their respective countries based on reliable research. For example, in the US we based our living wage on MIT’s report.

Pros

- Remote work - Competitive salary - Decent clients (If you’re lucky)

Cons

- Sink or swim mentality here - Ramped fear culture that is instilled during the first few weeks of “training” - Project Phase is a money grab and the most daunting, overwhelming task - Project Phase leaders - Training doesn’t include 90% of the odd processes Project Phase requires - Constantly hiring and firing new employees - Not people first despite how they position themselves

Thank you for your feedback. We are a passionate group of people and leaders which isn’t for everyone. Our Operations and Learning & Development teams are currently in the process of updating and expanding our onboarding and training materials. We hope these changes address some of what you mentioned in the cons for future hires. We wish you nothing but success in your future endeavors and thank you for the time and effort you gave to Directive.
