Pros

Directive shares a strong cultural vibe when it comes to the company, the employees and team members are welcoming . The salary is competitive and there is a PTO (unlimited time off) benefit that employees can avail.

Cons

The company is focused purely on revenue, which results in the overall senior management attitude of is Revenue = Human Employee. The senior management can be dismissive of ideas, un-cooperative (Unskilled Senior Managers who are focused on customer relationship building as compared to supporting the team with strategy or functional work). Directive has a specific motive to move into a higher league increasing the client retainer charges. This results into stress and an unbalance in work-life.

Thank you for the feedback. The COO, VP of Performance, and Directors are always open to ideas of ways we can improve our process. In addition to the open door policy, we solicit feedback during our Employee Engagement survey on ways we can improve workload. Agency life in general can lend itself to longer weeks than other types of marketing, while that’s the case we also want people to use their unlimited PTO benefit and take days off to enjoy life outside of work.

Pros

You will find talented people working there. Most willing to collaborate, help each other and innovate.

Cons

CEO is totally out of hand. He only thinks about his pockets and don’t treat people as professionals or human beings, just as numbers. We see him humiliating his employees in front of everyone. They think they’re a tech company and spend too much with their boy's club who don’t actually add value taking care of a “product”, while they offer consulting services. Priorities change all the time and most projects that can take months or years never work because the CEO has some new idea inspired on his boat. I’d work for a fast food restaurant instead of putting myself in a situation/ company like this again in the future. Run away!
