Pros

Good work environment. Good benefits. They were also very willing to work around my schedule. Discount tire also promotes from within.

Cons

You are working long hours in a lot of heat and humidity (at least in Houston). You are also expected to work your whole shift (7:30-3:30+) with either a 30 minute lunch break, or no break at all.

Pros

Family atmosphere. Good people for the most part. Very low bar and low expectations, so if you are looking to coast, you can. Very stable, and the company does genuinely care for its employees. Working here is very low risk.

Cons

As I mentioned above, if you want to coast, you can. Many do, and so this makes showing up at work and giving your best very challenging.
