      Discover has some great benefits, are super inclusive, and have overall enjoyed my work here

      Cons

      With Covid, agents are experiencing extremely high call volumes, with very agitated customers, and instead of adding more agents, they are moving agents to departments that are not experiencing this. Our Cardmember Assistance department is a dumpster fire, according to other managers as well.

      dont work there please for the love of god

      Did an interview, nearly got me hyped up cuz it seems like they were going to go through with hiring me until her attitude just changed for like no reason... Next day, "go through in hiring other applicants" or some bs. Why bother interviewing me or calling me if youre already set on someone else? stop wasting other people's time. Just pick some people with the resumes youre looking for... not get people's hopes up.

      Pay is not competitive for tech employees. Business related jobs pay more than Tech often times, which makes little sense. Discover underpays by almost $40,000 compared to its competition. Very little growth opportunities (you have to be top 1% performer to move up)
