Pros

- Lots of learning opportunities (mentorship, classes, etc) - Work/life balance and PTO - Leadership support - Great culture: e.g. supportive teammates, lunch n' learns, no micro-managing, transparency, etc

Cons

As a financial services company, there's a lot of processes to things: approvals, deployments, indecisiveness on platforms etc.

Pros

Discover tries to provide a fun and enjoyable atmosphere

Cons

Management pay is not competitive for the amount of responsibilities expected of you. Entry base pay is re-evaluated and increased almost annually while management pay is ignored. The gap is too close especially when entry base pay is increased at least $1 on top of regular merit increases and management increase is less than $1 hourly and never evaluated for a base increase. They do a lot to get you in the door but not to keep you there.
