Pros

There are always new challenges. Work doesn't get dull. I feel appreciated. There are opportunities for movement within the company. People are willing to help others out.

Cons

There is no separation of development and support. I would say the average work week is 40-45 hours if you stay focused but when rotating through primary support you are expected to be available 24/7 for the duration (1 - 2 weeks at a time). Not always a steady 9-5, some days a crisis hits and it can be closer to a 24 hour day even though the week still balances to around the low 40 hrs a week.

Pros

There are great benefits and it is a great place to work for someone who is ambitious and is willing to play the corporate politics game.

Cons

The rating system for performance reviews is discouraging and unmotivating. Only a few get the proper recognition and the current performance system makes the majority fall into an average performer category while some are forced into the less than average performance category. It is a bell curve and there is a lot of pressure on management to rate this way.

Pros

Nice, well maintained facility. Flexible scheduling for work-life balance. Some usefull skills can be acquired on some jobs. Decent benefits package.

Cons

No morale and no concern by management about it. Work issues relating to co-workers DO NOT get resolved. There is little opportunity for advancement and it hinges mostly on cliques. The pay is below average. There is a clear divide between management and non-exempts (unless the manager is your best friend)
