Management out of touch

Pros

The people are very talented and want the best for their teams, always striving to improve.

Cons

The executives (CEO, Head of HR, etc) are totally out of touch with the day to day of the company and constantly say things like you need to be in person to be successful, completely demeaning the accomplishments of their staff during the pandemic. It's so insulting that they are so out of touch with the needs of the everyman because they are so wealthy--some of us actually saved money by working from home, and you want us to go back to spending money every day commuting, and spending hours every day commuting away from our families?

Like working with the worst high school click

Pros

Pay, benefits, free coffee. They have a gym and health care facility on campus as well as a kitchen.

Cons

If you upset management then will make your life miserable. Also they will make it impossible for you to transfer out to another department so you're stuck in a job you hate. Imagine your job being ran by the worst high school click and you aren't part of the click. The job stress is extreme, they expect you to work crazy hours, and generally do not care about you as a person. HR will do nothing to help you when you bring up legitimate concerns. I had my ADA rights violated on a continual bases and HR would do nothing. The management will out right tell you that they are waiting for the next buy out so they will get their executive severance packages. There is little to no training because they got rid off everyone that knew how to do anything (the old Scripps people).

Pros

Those below upper management are amazing people.

Cons

Upper Management is awful! They don't care about their employees. This company is not the same one as it used to be. Once upon a time, the employees were valued, that is not the case anymore.
