Pros

The company provides salary and benefits, Some co-workers are lovely people.

Cons

My experience with this company was marked by a series of significant challenges, particularly related to communication and employee treatment. There was a consistent failure to communicate critical information clearly and transparently, often resulting in a discrepancy between stated goals and operational reality. This created an environment where employees were frequently left to navigate misunderstandings, making it difficult to align on projects and objectives. Furthermore, there appeared to be a fundamental lack of investment in developing talent. Instead of using challenges as opportunities for growth, there was a tendency to let people go. This demonstrated a culture that views staff as a disposable resource rather than a valuable asset to be cultivated and mentored. This approach not only impacts morale but also prevents the company from building a resilient and experienced workforce. Finally, the organization seemed to ignore valuable feedback and information from those on the front lines. Insights on client needs, market shifts, and operational challenges were often dismissed or not acted upon. This disconnect between leadership and the reality of the business's day-to-day operations suggests a significant blind spot that may hinder long-term success.

While we are pleased you found value in our salary, benefits, and team members, we take concerns about communication, employee support, and feedback seriously. At Diversus Health, we are committed to creating a transparent and supportive workplace where employees feel valued, heard, and given opportunities for growth. Pros

They love to hire new grads with no experience! Just be prepared to be given zero direction and then be blamed for your lack of sustainability, despite advocating for ways to increase productivity. A very common theme among multiple departments.

Cons

I would highly recommend avoiding Diversus if you are not a licensed clinician or above. They consistently post positions for unlicensed or bachelors level positions that are funded by grants, with no transparency in the job listing, interview or orientation that this position is technically temporary. A colleague of mine did not know they were in a 12 month grant funded position until 6 months in, and employees will consistently ask for approximate grant end dates but are never given one. HR rarely negotiates pay, so expect to get the lowest posted. Supervisors laugh when you ask about pursuing a raise. The organization is extremely top heavy, with a mandatory podcast for employees to listen to the executives discuss values that don’t truly align with their motives (and have yet to actually bring on a client-facing professional!) And the worst part? Clients are used to the high turnover and will be disappointed but not surprised to hear that due to the company’s choices, their favorite services are ending abruptly or that they can’t see their therapist more than once a month due to high caseloads.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re truly sorry to hear that your time at Diversus Health did not reflect the supportive, mission-driven environment we aim to create. Feedback like yours is not taken lightly and helps us improve both communication and internal processes. We recognize the concerns raised around transparency, especially regarding grant-funded roles. While we make every effort to communicate the nature and duration of such positions during the hiring and onboarding processes, we acknowledge that we can do better and are actively working on improving how this information is shared with both applicants and current staff. Regarding compensation and growth, we understand how important it is for employees to feel valued. While our compensation structure follows defined guidelines to ensure equity, we are currently reviewing our processes around merit increases, career progression, and how we can better support our unlicensed and early-career team members. The commitment to values and culture at Diversus Health is not meant to be performative, and we regret if that was your experience. We continue to evolve our communication and seek more ways to include frontline perspectives in meaningful organizational discussions. We appreciate your contributions during your time with us and sincerely wish you success in your future endeavors. If you’re open to a further conversation, our HR team is always available to listen and learn. — The Diversus Health HR Team
