Pros

Benefits such as retirement and medical/vision are good. Some of the people are great to work with. You have access to a gym inside the building as well.

Cons

No training, treated like a number. Unless you know someone, or are related, you will get nowhere here

Benefits, retirement, honorable career, excellent training, good pay.

Cons

The upper management had and has poor leadership, high turnover rate at the jail, poor classification of inmates, subject to violence, to many hours worked that you get burned out, poor schedule, mangers are not to flexible with staff. Mandatory overtime!!!
