Pros

DocuWare has a rare combination of strong values and real follow-through. Leadership genuinely cares about employee well-being, growth, and balance. Cross-functional collaboration is respectful and purpose-driven, and there’s a consistent emphasis on trust, autonomy, and authenticity. The company is forward-thinking, especially in how it integrates AI and process improvements, not just for efficiency, but to empower people to do more meaningful work. Global teams bring diverse perspectives, and the culture feels inclusive and human.

Cons

Change can move slowly at times, especially in areas influenced by traditional business culture, rather than the fast pace seen in software-startups. There is some natural risk aversion that can make innovation more deliberate than spontaneous. Communication across regions and departments has improved a lot, but there’s still room to make internal alignment faster and more frictionless.
