Pros

Over the past year, I’ve seen meaningful progress in both the company’s culture and overall direction. Leadership makes a clear effort to listen to employee feedback and improve communication and collaboration across teams. There’s a growing sense of alignment and forward momentum, with more openness to new ideas. The improved communication, transparency, and stronger collaboration is leading to an increasingly more positive work environment!

Cons

Dodge is fully remote - but it would be great to see in-person team meetings or even an annual company wide meeting in the future.

Pros

Competitive Compensation Compensation was strong relative to scope and expectations. Talented, Dedicated Colleagues I genuinely enjoyed working with cross-functional partners and team members across the organization. There are smart, committed professionals who care about the business and want to make an impact. Significant Opportunity for Impact The organization is in a phase where meaningful change is possible. With aligned leadership support and empowerment, there is strong potential to drive strategic improvements and elevate the employee experience.

Cons

In my department: Highly Directive Management Style Leadership demonstrated an extremely hands-on, detail-oriented management approach. Autonomy was limited, and performance was often evaluated based on visible activity rather than measurable outcomes. Flexibility in work structure felt constrained, with an emphasis on real-time availability and presence. Limited Trust & Psychological Safety Team norms emphasized immediate responsiveness and visible status updates, which created an environment of scrutiny rather than empowerment. This made it challenging to operate strategically or independently. “Flexible” Time Off Perception Gap While flexible time off was advertised, in practice there appeared to be informal limits and cultural pressure around utilization, which may discourage employees from fully taking advantage of the benefit. Reactive vs. Strategic Execution There was no clearly cascaded enterprise strategy that employees outside of senior leadership could easily articulate. Goals were not consistently defined at the individual or team level, leading to misaligned priorities and effort dispersion. Survey Fatigue Without Action Employee engagement surveys were conducted, but follow-through and visible action planning appeared limited. Without a clear feedback loop, participation risks feeling transactional rather than transformative. Activity Over Impact A significant amount of work focused on compliance-driven or check-the-box initiatives, with less emphasis on sustained, measurable organizational impact.
