Pros

One of the largest restaurant groups in the US. They know what they are doing..and expect results. Plenty of coaching and development for management, including big trips for all the management in the area - good culture.

Cons

Sometimes you do not have the tools you need. They expect you to get things done without providing the necessary things - money, labor, tools, etc

Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate hearing from our employees so we can continue to make Doherty a great place to work. We do recognize its takes hard work and dedication to work in the restaurant industry and we as you noted, reward that hard work and dedication with management outings/trips and trainer outings, to show our appreciation. I wish you provided more specifics regarding tools, we do have a great R&M department and invest in many products to allow our teams to perform successfully. Thanks again for your review, your feedback is much appreciated.

Thank you for your review. I was very happy to hear that you appreciate the flexible work schedules Panera provides. We strive to offer a great place to work along with flexible hours because while we do want to be a part of your life, we believe in work/life balance. In fact, 'being balanced' is one of our company values as well as a place that offers lots of room to grow, so when I saw your comment about no opportunities I wanted to respond to you. I'm sorry that you feel we did not meet your expectations with this one and wanted to make sure you knew of all the possibilities we have to grow and earn a pay increase as you advance to the next level. From an Associate you can work towards becoming a Certified Trainer, not only assisting with training new bread heads within your own cafe but also for new store openings, we also offer advancement opportunities to become zone leaders, shift supervisors and managers too! In fact some of our Area Directors who oversee multiple locations started with us as Hourly team members! Now I realize that may not be the path you are looking for but I invite you to contact me so that we can discuss the opportunity you are looking for and I can point you in the right direction in getting there. Please email me at JShannon@dohertyinc.com Warm Regards-Jo
