DoiT Software Engineering Manager reviews

I joined DoiT 5 years ago, I started as a Software Engineer and after a year or so I was promoted to a Software Engineering Manager. There are so many pros working for DoiT that it is really hard to decide where to start: 1. As an engineer I really looked for a place where you spend most of your time building new things and not just maintaining legacy code. And DoiT is just about that. We constantly ship new features and products and you learn new things on a weekly basis. 2. The entire business is heavily tech oriented which means that literally everyone in the company share the same passion and same goals. Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, everyone are tech people which makes collaboration outstanding. 3. I saw the company growing from 100 employees to 600 and usually companies struggle to maintain their cultural core. This is not the case in DoiT. The culture remains healthy, open, collaborative and forward thinking. While to company scales, and grows you still have a chance to work with senior stake holders on a daily basis and you really get to see how your daily work impacts the business. 4. The company leadership really cares about the individuals in the company. I saw it in many different opportunities and was always so proud of the way different issues were handled. 5. Finally, the company is fully remote. As a parent this is a game changer. I can progress in my career without sacrificing my family. I own my own time.

Remote work is great! super flexible and easy to get things done. There are many cycles for promotion, which create a clear sense of growth and forward momentum. The company works with the latest tech and really encourages innovation. A lot of meaningful product features actually come out of internal hackathons, giving engineers the chance to build their own ideas and see them make it into production.
