Pros

The people are incredible. Some of the coolest, brightest, most humble folks I’ve ever worked with. Everyone super willing to take time out of their busy schedule to chat, brainstorm, or knowledge share. Lots of interesting and exciting projects always in the pipeline. Beautiful office, amazing benefits (4-day work week every other week). Brand reputation is strong.

Cons

Company and marketing leadership does a poor job at sharing the why behind decision-making and new initiatives. This leads to a lack of connection, engagement, and inspiration from management to those lower down the ranks. In marketing, many decisions, initiatives, and projects were announced by the CMO with no room for discussion or questioning, just forcing everyone to go chase this shiny new idea he thought of. It felt like we were always chasing the shiny new thing, being forced to set aside our other projects and priorities. HUGE lack of post-project retrospectives and discussions to address learnings and room for improvement. As a result, it felt like Groundhog Day, where each project we kept repeating past mistakes. This was extremely frustrating as a junior employee, it felt like we were forced to chase the whims of the CMO on a moment’s notice, while repeating all of our past mistakes. I would agree with other reviews that state the loudest voice in the room is usually respected the most and given priority, even if they might not be saying the right thing.
