Pros

Great work life balance, laid back collegiate atmosphere, organic fruits and soda on the house, neck massages and yoga sessions. Besides all the perks, you get to work along with some really smart people.

Cons

Salary not competitive to other tech companies. Still using HDDs instead of SSDs for some developer machines. 9/80 (every other Friday off), is not a thing outside the Cali office.

Pros

Dolby has brilliant engineers with a wealth of experience. It won't release a product which is not up to its high standards. It focuses on the full end-to-end experience of its customers.

Cons

Dolby is quite conservative due to being a company that licenses its tech. It avoids getting into markets that would compete with its licensees.
