Pros

There are some truly talented people here, and the technology is amazing. There's lots of cash in the bank, and passion around the industry we participate. Creating entertainment products and technologies is great.

Cons

Most of the internal promotion is the same inexperienced leadership that keeps trying the same things, expecting different results. Dolby is bleeding the talented employees that want to make a difference, but just can't get traction with the executives.

Cons

Senior management is all new since the IPO – not from audio/entertainment industry Dolby is still struggling to transition to a growth oriented company after 40 years as a privately held company Company is more average in non-engineering areas
