Pros

Easy to work the register Great first job to know about what customer service is & to gain knowledge on how to do transactions

Cons

Never enough employees working in a given day. Always stuck with long line dealing with rude customers while your backup cashier is occupied with a customer or on break. Only given 20 hours a week working 4 hour shifts for being part time. They don't let anyone work past 8 hours if needed because they're too cheap to want to pay for it. They over work you and expect you to do so much on a short shift ( stock, recover front register, put away go backs ,assist customers with whatever they need) & this is for only getting paid at minimum wage. They hardly ever give you raises.
