Pros

Get to see new products before they are sold Tolerable with good management Good starter/summer job Good for gaining a few months of cashier experience for people new to retail

Cons

Terrible pay Management is almost always a nightmare Cashier hours are always being messed with and cut Expected to go above and beyond for a pitiful paycheck Little to no life outside of work if you're part of the management team

Pros

Decent pay, matched savings, and being first to see new products.

Cons

Dollar Tree is not interested in increasing store revenue. If they were, they would talk to employees who actually work in the stores. I have seen thousands of dollars in sales lost because of long lines, poor customer service, u-boats blocking aisles, and shelves not stocked. And all the lucky shoplifters who fill their backpacks and get to bypass those long lines. Some even smile and say thank you as they leave. Customers we've lost tell their friends not to shop at Dollar Tree, so more lost sales. And all it would take to increase revenue, is more employees to help the customers. It is a no-brainer! So, why won't they do that? I would to love to hear their reasoning.
