Pros

There are no pros to working at dollar tree

Cons

Pay is under what McDonald's, Target, Lowes, Walmart, Walgreens and any other place you can think of. Will not let you work full time hours so no benefits (unless you are a manager and even their pay is below average) It’s not management that should be blamed it is corporate! A person cannot live off of what they pay. It's awful! Stick a crow bar in that wallet dollar tree and pay your employees what they deserve or you will not be there much longer. Starting pay at minimum should be 11-12$ an hour for associates and 13-15 for management and that is low balling it!

Pros

Everyone is very nice, acts like family. When you get started just ask for help, and someone can help you.

Cons

If you don't ask for help, then you won't get any. They constantly overlapped my work schedule with my college glasses. I gave them 3 different lists and mentioned it to every single manager in advanced on days that they had overlapped. They are still overlapping my classes.

Pros

They pay you for each and every minute you work, even if you work over your time to get off.

Cons

None to report. Great job to work at.
