Assistant managers starting out at 8.50 when some part time jobs pay more than that with less work, not all members of management get monthly bonus but are expected to be motivated to push sales up so that the members of management that do get bonuses can get theirs, store manager takes credit for everything good happening in the store when they just sit in the office on t the phone all day, expected to make the store look perfect in just 3 hrs while running a register, helping the cashier with customers, cleaning up all the messes of day shift, doing the damages and markdowns, and more.

The pay was horrible and most of the hours went to the managers and to the assistant managers. People either quit or got fired a little too often. Almost every time I walk in there, I see someone new. At the Dollar Tree that I worked at, we were never really busy at all so usually at night there is only one cashier and one manger or assistant manger and that is it. Some times when I needed them to answer a question for a customer, they were outside smoking or in the break room where they can't hear the intercom so I was left with no help. You got yelled at if your register was a penny short. There was no respect at all for employees.
