      Pros

      They provide some great experience in both retail and in managment. They provide some great chances to learn how the basic aspects of retail work. They can provide managers a chance in developing workers. I have personally promoted and trained 6 assistants managers in the last year. They are growing very fast as well. This allows a lot of people to get a chance to be promoted and become more sucessful.

      Cons

      The hours can be long for store managers. This can be very true during the hoildays. This is typical of a lot of jobs in retail. Some of the big shots sometimes lose touch with how things really work at a store level.

      Pros

      Most of the store is a flex area which allows for management to use their merchandising experience and talents to pretty much do as they see fit!

      Cons

      A lot of hours, especially when you are required to cut hours. Sometimes you are expected to work all your frieght to the floor when you have to cut your hours down to the point that there are only 2 people in your entire store working. Sometimes working open to close.
