Pros
It was nice meeting and talking with customers and help them find what they needed.
Cons
When I worked as a cashier I had a hard time making change but I managed to make a cheat sheet of how to do it. My assistant manager defended me saying that I was a hard worker best worker she’s ever seen to my head manager, but when my assistant manager left for reasons unknown that’s when things got bad real quick. I was given a task to maintain register, unpack 115 boxes on U boat if I had no customers at register, and complete my Appleseed list which was about 18 things on my list I was only able to complete five of them. And I was the only cashier working 8-3 with no one else working 8-3 but me. When I looked at schedule of people working the same hours as I was working they had two or three people working the same day 8-3. And when I worked in U-boat I had to unpack and put away 25 boxes an hour out of 115 or more on the U-boat. And they calculated and I was able to unpack maybe 10 boxes an hour saying I was not measuring up to their requirements. To be honest it’s unreasonable because everyone moves at a different pace, especially if your in a aisle and the product you’re unpacking is not from that aisle you have to go find it were goes while still assisting customers that come up to you and ask you were an item is and while maintaining register by yourself and completing your Appleseed list. The whole idea of multitasking is a complete BS you cannot multitask while doing it efficiently.
