Layoffs, pay cuts, and added responsibilities without fair compensation have been ongoing issues. Even single-employee departments like Maintenance and IT ended up empty in the same week—whether it was fear of layoffs or just frustration with the working conditions—and the high turnover rate says a lot about how bad things are. Honestly, even I’m looking for a way out right now. Promotions aren’t any better. They often go to people who are already struggling in their current roles, which just causes more inefficiencies and headaches. On top of that, a lot of leaders at the Huntsville branch seem shockingly unqualified, which makes everything worse. Management’s attempts to improve morale, like pizza parties where slices are cut in half to serve everyone, just come across as tone-deaf and kind of insulting. The workplace feels split into groups: leadership, employees trying to get on their good side, and everyone else, who are often overlooked and undervalued. If you try to bring up concerns, management will just turn the blame back on you instead of fixing the problem—it’s a classic DARVO tactic. At the end of the day, Dometic Huntsville might work as a short-term gig, but it’s not a place you’d want to stay long. Between the constant turnover, lack of job security, and toxic atmosphere, it’s just not worth it.
