The job offers great pay, great benefits, and a secure job if you're doing your job correctly and being a decent worker.

Cons

extreme over-time and on-calls, however once again the pay is very courteous for your time away from home.

Flex schedule (44 hour weeks with every other Friday off). Opportunity to work from home within reason. Open to the idea of switching to a different department if there is some benefit.

Cons

Unfortunately, there is still a good ol' boy mentality at Dominion. Its definitely who you know in order to make it up the ranks. Very heavy with Contractors. Business clients get whatever they want, even if its not in the budget or doesn't align properly with the business processes. Ultimately ended up in lots of rework. I was grossly underpaid for the amount of work required of me.
