Pros

I wouldn't have made the kind of money I did in an administrative position at any other company. The benefits Dominion offers are outstanding. Generous amounts of vacation, sick, and personal days..

Cons

Dominion is a VERY conservative company. The department I worked for operates under the philosophy of "fall in line or you'll have a bulls eye on your back". It doesn't matter how hard a person works or how great the quality is, promotions are not based on merit when management plays favorites. Also, employees are exploited by taking on the roles and responsibilities of an employee in a much higher-paying position, yet they never receive the title or pay- just the additional work.

Stability of job, work life balance. Working hours were usually reasonable. Benefits offered second to no other companies. Expectations reasonable.

Cons

If you are looking for a job with the possibilities of a quick advancing career this is not the place. Upward mobility in a quick manner is a challenge even for outstanding performance.

Cons

The hours can be challenging at times, since it is a company that is always operating and therefore must be staffed at all times.
