Pros

The work is not hard. The work environment is good. The co-workers are good. Management is good. If you are looking for good, Dominion is good…but not great.

Cons

You will not move up in the organization unless you are in the Richmond, VA area. The company wants to be recognized as environmentally “green”, even at the expense of being monetarily green.

Dominion Energy Response

Good afternoon and thank you for taking a few minutes to type out a review of your expereince with Dominion Energy. I really appreciate your lengthy tenure and dedication with us. I know as a company we have definitely evolved during that time and have shifted priorities as the market and industry change. This is very true when it comes to our sustainability efforts. Dominion Energy prides itself on being environmentally cognizant and on making the right decision, even if it is not the "monetarily green" option. I do not foresee that changing in the future as it has enabled us become better stewards of our communities and habitats. I do also think there is a wide variety of opportunities across the company that could enable you to grow, even outside of Richmond, VA headquarters. It is true that in some cases, new opportunites will require relocation maybe to another power station or a new territory, but a number of them exist even outside of VA. If you do want to explore additional roles, I'd encourage you to connect with our Career Center and see what their recommendations might be? In any case, thank you again for your hard work, tenure, and commitment to make sure Dominion Energy offers all of their employees growth opportunites. Stay safe out there!
