Pros

I am very grateful to be part of the DD organization. I have been with this company for the past few years and my income has been probably what many doctors earn annually. DD gives you ALL the tools necessary to earn a stellar income. Your earning capacity is dictated by how much work YOU put in. As for the owner, he is a good man. Nothing negative to say about him whatsoever. If you were terminated its probably because you didn't do your job or you did something pretty bad. We do get paid on productivity!

Cons

Had a couple disagreements with a couple of my colleagues, but nothing bad to say about the company.

Pros

The idea of "$100 commission" and my supervisor was chill and nice.

Cons

They really don't care about you, you're really underpaid for what you do. The lies. They said we get $100 for every person we sign up for a tour during your interview. Then later on "they need to qualify". It's really BS I got 80+ sign ups and only 5 commission checks. Human resources office never answers your call. When you quit they don't tell you they cut off your direct deposit so pray you don't have any bills to pay that day or really need money because you won't see it until Monday. They simply extort people who need a job and not care about them is what you'll be getting into here!

I am sorry you did not have a good experience. The compensation for a Referral Agent (which I think is what you are referring to) is $100 commission is paid when the referral qualifies and tours the resort. You must have misunderstood. As Director of Human Resources I can't always answer my phone but I always return calls. All employees are told at the time of hire that the last check will be a live check, you must have forgotten. We care about our employees and have many who are happy and have been with us for several years.

Pros

The people that live there are awesome. They make it worth it.

Cons

The staff and management could care less about you. The have egotistical people that run the restuarant and that makes it difficult for anyone to be there. There is too much drama for such a high end resort. Anyone that has any class or management experience stands no chance against the little girls that don't know anything about what is happening around them.

I am sorry your experience as a server was not a good one. We have an open door policy and if there were issues with the management of the restaurant you should have escalated your concerns to the general manager. If upper management is not made aware of problems they cannot fix them.
