Pros

Great chef... Laid back... Good money

Cons

Almost everyone in the BOH and FOH... Act like children!! They wear their feelings on their shoulders and when mad they walk around with attitudes. The Sous chef throws pans and things when mad. I speak how I feel... So I was fired... Because the Servers and Sous chef were supposedly intimidated of me!!!

Pros

Higher Responsibility, Communicated with Upper Management, learned new skills working as a manager overnight as well as performing general front desk agent responsibilities. Greeting guests and experiencing diversity in consumer base. Providing world-class guest experience through positive attitude and confidence in job responsibilities.

Cons

High turnover rate with employees, dissatisfaction with compensation, overworked due to under-staffing, managerial disorganization, recurring construction that affects guests' experience, especially flight attendants and pilots, who are usually resting during abnormal hours. Frequent changes in third-party security companies, experiencing re-training with new security officers and lack of performance for security of the hotel.

Breakfast server in tourist town

Pros

Loved working at Doubletree, lots of pro's to this job. Biggest perk is the hotel discount, if you love to travel this will be a major help. You accrue PTO quickly. Health insurance, pet insurance, adoption assistance, maternity and paternity leave. I can't speak on other locations, but my location in a Colorado tourist town was very lucrative. Long hours, but absolutely worth it.

Cons

Often have to work holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas)
