Pros
Solid financial performance during the past few years, especially since the DowDuPont merger and split in 2017. Strategic focuses on packaging, home & personal care, building, electronics, mobility, coatings, construction, and adhesive markets. Chemistry are polyolefin, glycol ethers, silicones, carbohydrate polymers, acrylics, etc. Strong on sustainability through innovation. Emphasis on carbon neutrality, circularity, LCA, and biodegradation. Also strong culture on safety and career development.
Cons
Culture could be quite different from group to group. Some groups are young and energetic for innovation, but others are more suitable for those close to retirement. Favoritism exists.
