Managers Beware

Pros

Free food, cool office. Growing organization.

Cons

If you are a people manager, I would avoid working at DraftKings. They are not supportive of their managers and the workers know it and use it to their advantage. Workers are essentially allowed to do as they pleased. We even had people on our team that booked an expensive trip on the company's dime after specifically being told not to, and their manager was told to let it go.

RUN - Terrible Management

Pros

They pay on time Mon-fri schedule

Cons

The WFM team recently got new management back in Feb and everything went downhill. There was no sense of urgency to ever get anything done, especially when you are working with someone who over analyzes everything and can’t make simple decisions as a leader without consulting with upper management. They will blindside you into thinking everything is going well, and then terminate you without any rime or reason just because the manager lied on you and said you were underperforming on a job where there wasn’t basically anything to do all day besides put exception codes into the system. I was even micromanaged on how i clocked in/out. Then the manager lied again and told HR i was not clocking in the way i was told to. Another thing HR and upper leadership took based off of one persons word and ran with it.. basically due to all of these micro aggressions i was retaliated against, and without ever being placed on a write up i was wrongfully terminated.
