Pros

Stability, good work / personal life balance, lots of little perks (gym membership, free breakfast & lunch, free screenings, DVDs, etc.)

Cons

Low pay for production, political/favoritism, complacency, at mercy of a single supervisor for performance review, growth/promotion can be slow, lots of training on "managing up" but none for actually managing people

Pros

The company is friendly towards its employees and tries to maintain a work/life balance. There is crunch time, but this mostly seems to affect the artists and not the software developers or other support staff. You get to see your name in movie credits as well!

Cons

Software project scheduling and organization has room for improvement. However, missed deadlines do not automatically result in overtime, as management understands the complexity of the software used to create the movies.

Pros

Family environment, for the most part. AMAZINGLY talented Artist

Cons

Low Pay, slow upward trajectory, with some employees being in the same position for YEARS?!! It's also high school 2.0 meaning lots of professional lines are crossed and one's private business is discussed like Wendy's Hot Topics. And it does affect a lot of things. Review system in prod mgmt is one way and should be 360. Meaning everyone on a team should be able to review one another, regardless of position.
