Fun, but technology isn't a priority

Pros

People were great to work with and the environment was great for a larger company. Free breakfast/lunch and nice gym and weekly movie screenings.

Cons

No stock options, below average compensation (as it usually is with this industry). Most of technology is proprietary and fragile.

Great company to work for, a bit unorganized.

Pros

Great employee perks such as free breakfast, lunch and often happy hours. Fun employee events and classes you can take whenever. People are generally happy to work there, great artists.

Cons

Very busy all the time. Lots of overtime. Perhaps that's just the industry though. Also, pay is pretty low to combat the expensiveness of living in the SF Bay Area.

Pros

The projects are generally fun, and most of the senior staff are very supportive and professional. Time frames on projects are managed well, and the 'crunch' is minimal if it's there at all. Only studio I have worked out, where all the production staff are not burnt out and bitter. There is a huge variety of creative people here, and it's a very supportive community.

Cons

Seem to move into production before story is finished, resulting in shuffling around. Lots of production staff who have been there for a long time, are set in their ways. If by chance they do adopt new technology, they do it using their outdated ideas.
