Pros

"Free" Lunch Interesting, super intelligent, ambitious colleagues. Beautiful environment Competitive salaries

Cons

Executives make opaque decisions and do not communicate them to the rest of the studio. The software and pipeline are stuck in the 90s. Decisions are made at a snail's pace, and they're usually bad decisions. It seems likely that all of the film jobs will be outsourced in the near future.

Pros

The place is beautiful - great working environment! The people your working with day to day are talented and share their knowledge.

Cons

Advancement can be slow - hard to change to other departments. Some of the supervisors need better people skills.

Pros

The cultural, artistic and technical diversities of talent at the studio are world renowned! I am very fortunate to work with some of the top computer artists, developers and production personnel in the industry! I made so many lifelong friends that are now family. Unlike most animation studios, there is a vast amount of collaborating and knowledge sharing that goes on. It doesn't have that 'freelance' mentality. Plenty of extra curricular activities and perks.

Cons

Communication from Senior Management is inconsistent. Management training and career development is pretty weak. Annual management classes are held for a select group but there is no follow up training as a 'check up'. Policies are created and aren't strictly adhered to. Management shares news and then their actions are contradictory.
