Pros

Great environment for creative technical work, great people to work with. Work on interesting projects. Room to grow if you really apply yourself.

Cons

- Software requires a lot of hand-holding, and significant time can be spent ensuring compatibility between departments - Limited number of R&D intern positions. R&D teams tend to be very insulated from younger talent and change.

Pros

Ambitious goals, amazing talent, unbeatable work environment. Encouragement for management transparency and practiced by our CEO. Leading edge R&D in software and hardware systems abound.

Cons

Compensation, while well above average for many, is well below for others. Mixed on how this disparity either creates incentive or just makes it hard for the folks near the bottom.
