Pros

the people and teams are very good and help make it a good pace to work- the talent is amazing and the projects are great. the campus is a nice place to work, they do feed you lunch and do give amazing swag - art books and amazing crew gift sculptures for many of the projects being worked on.

Cons

however, allot of work on most DWA projects are being worked on by companies in other countries. job security for many employees is not the best - in the past few years the demand for faster, cheaper, high quality work with the uncertainty of your next project looming over the horizon can make it a stressful place to work,

Pros

-Animators are trusted with "mini sequences" for themselves -Supervisors and HOCAS have, generally speaking, no ego issues are friendly a open to chat anytime. -Good compensation -Almost no Overtime -Beautiful projects

Cons

-Unfortunately a lot of work is now going to be outsourced to other companies and DW animation team is getting cut and it seems this will continue happening, Highly talented artists with a lot of expertise -over 10/15 years experience- are being fired to adjust to the new "needs" of the market.

Pros

Most of the time, the team you work with will be awesome. Being surrounded by, and working along-side phenomenal artists on a daily basis is the dream. Campus food, events, and other company perks are great too.

Cons

My role was misclassified, and as a result I was underpaid for my position for the majority of my employment at the studio. I've heard from other former artists that they were generally paid less for their roles in comparison to the similar roles at other local studios.
