Pros

- Had good benefits and culture. Died once Universal took over. - had great leaders and open culture but that went away too

Cons

- universal takeover and just decided to layoff pretty much everyone - JK promised job security and support when takeover happened and said nothing would change but that was as far from reality as one can imagine.

Things aren't looking up since the Comcast purchase

Pros

A nice campus, some really talented co-workers, free food, nice work life balance.

Cons

Pay and advancement opportunities were never good but have completely stagnated since the Comcast acquisition. There is almost zero information coming out about what is planned next with the exception of the next three years of sequels. The production pipeline and tools are very old and require an army of technical people to keep it running, not conducive to new tighter show budgets. The TV division is leading the charge and film has taken a back seat. Large layoffs last year followed by top talent leaving in droves this year. I'm not sure what is next for DreamWorks Animation but it certainly feels like it's in decline.
