Pros

Medical benefits, free food (before Pandemic), really cool office. A nice change of pace for most Akron employers. Company is on track to be wildly succesful.

Cons

Pay is not awful, but not quite competitive.No equity sharing despite being a startup. Drips core service offering is sending automated marketing texts/follow ups... some of the companies in the customer base (ambulance chasers, predatory debt consolidators) can be kind of icky which makes Drips guilty by association. The worst part for me was how little autonomy/creativity there is for most of the employes. If you are happy with your pay, and good at shutting up and doing as you're told, you could be a good fit.

Pros

WFH, generous PTO, and friendly co-workers.

Cons

Zero culture. Management is in constant turnover which creates ever changing departmental goals. Starts with leadership at the top which has always been poor. Obvious that the co-founders want to get paid and depart from the company but are waiting for the opportunity to make the most money.

Pros

There’s no micromanaging, people are nice. Flexible with work from home. You do really get great freedom while working here.

Cons

Under paid. No real sense of career growth. Consistent layoffs. Even if you do get promoted, chances are that you’re not going see much compensation that comes with it. Many people are leaving, have already left, or they have been laid-off because of horrible business practices which increases the workload for the rest of the employees.
