There is a lot of favoritism in IT. Many of the newer Directors and Assistant Directors have very poor management skills and have stepped on others to get to where they are. Many but not all of the managers don’t truly care for the people they are managing but only care about their own agenda. There has been a very high turnover rate in IT over the past year and it’s a result of poor management and people feeling under appreciated. It use to be a great place to work but now many people are seeking new opportunities because the culture has changed so much. Sad but true.
