Pros

I really enjoyed working at Drybar, it was a fun and fast-paced job and the staff really felt like a family. We also had a lot of freedom with what we wore, and you have the ability to pick up shifts at any of the nearby locations which was nice. We also got free blowouts and a decent discount on products.

Cons

Two things that made the job kind of miserable sometimes were the mean clients and the fact that we weren't allowed to ask for days off. Although I met some amazing clients, I met some of the nastiest, rudest people I have ever met in my life working here. I was spit on at least twice and it wasn't rare for me to be yelled at and called names at least once per shift. As for the shifts, once you were given your permanent schedule, it was basically set in stone. The only way we could get days off was by getting them covered ourselves, even if it was months in advance that we were asking for the day off. We would have to send emails to all the Drybar bartenders in our area asking if they could pick up our shift, and we always had to offer money too. Even after offering the money it was still rare for me to get shifts covered so I often had to cancel plans and trips anyway because no one would cover my shift.

Cons

Management at this location is unprofessional. If you ever have an issue and feel the need to address it, don’t bother, if your working here you automatically dismissed. If you cant stay longer one day prepare to be sent home early and your clients given to some one who will whether they booked for you or not. Also you would have to keep track of your time worked and time and a half pay because those would be missing from our pay too. And if your planning to work at this location prepare you self for some toxic energy because even the manager/owner talks poorly about her employees even to other employees.
