Pros

Great for gaining experience as a new/newer stylist. Fun to network with clients.

Cons

No breaks or lunch breaks, if they do put a block on your schedule it typically doesn’t make sense and or is moved by the receptionists or owner to make more room for appointments. Very difficult to find coverage for your shifts and is expected for you to find coverage even when you ask for time “off”. Overall lack of communication between ownership, management and staff make things difficult and frustrating for employees.
