Don’t Believe the Hype

Pros

Product discount, free blowouts, you can meet some really amazing people.

Cons

Favoritism, promotions given to unqualified people, not all held to the same standards, illegal practices, no compassion, randomly making new policies and forcing team to abide by them, forcing stylists to work at shops they didn’t sign up to work at, constant executive change (multiple CEOs have left), no raises or bonuses - ever. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You’ll be happier.

Pros

Tips & clients made it worth it for a little bit. There really wasn’t much to look forward to for this job. Only bonus was that you could work another job at the same time

Cons

You will be making minimum wage for an employee that takes advantage of minority employees and the training is not thorough enough.
