If you like getting worked to the bone for barley any money and be disrespected by corporate DRYBAR IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I didn’t pay $20k for a cosmetology license to be handed a toothbrush on my 15 minute down time and be told to get on my hands and knees and scrub the baseboards of the store. If DryBar corporate wasn’t so cheap and actually took care of their employees this could be a cool place. But unfortunately I’d tell you to run like the plague. Only giving two stars because of the wonderful coworkers I met along the way.

Paid training, semi-flexible schedule, consistent paycheck, small referral bonus, occasional small bonus incentives, allows for stylist to outsource clients to full service salons, guaranteed to master blow dry and styling skills thru repetitive services, room to switch locations, culturally diverse staff

Cons

Minimum wage, high physical labor with very limited breaks, staff may get treated as disposable, high turnover rate, demanding clients, poor tipping clients, tips not guaranteed, management plays favoritism, catty staff, some staff drink alcohol while working, toxic work environment, terrible during holidays
